Each year the Northlake Mandeville Rotary Club assembles and displays a large Snow Village for children of all ages at Acquarius Pools, next to the Mandeville Trailhead. The display includes 5 running model trains and many villages that the trains go through. See the story below.
At the Snow Village, children can write a letter to Santa and place it in a mail box. Letters are drawn each Christmas and toys are given to the winners. This year's winners were Donald Guastella of Ponchatoula and Madalynn Casnave of LaCombe. These children and their families were super excited and loved the Snow Village and their winnings!
