Each year in July, the Northlake Mandeville Rotary Club sends students to the District RYLA, leadership camp for rising Seniors. Also our club provided and served a Red Beans and Rice dinner for the participants, counselors, and camp staff. The Covington Rotary Club provided the desserts and helped serve. The RYLA camp develops leadership skills and emphasizes "Service Above Self" through national speakers and team skits and activities. After the camp the students who we sponsored will report to the club on their experiences. Past attendees all report that RYLA was a "life changing" experience.
