On Sunday, April 26, the Northlake Mandeville Rotary Club celebrated it annual signature event, Sunday With Scholars, at the Beau Chene Country Club. Each year the Rotary club awards over $50,000 in scholarships to graduating scholars. This year's scholars are (above from left to right) Jack Griffith, Elizbeth Tissue, Ellie Pennison, Aubree Arthur, Mia Adams, Alyssa Barr, and Annie Kate Simms. Four new $12,000 scholarships and three new $1,000 memorial scholarships were awarded to these 2026 High School graduates.
These new scholars, along with sixteen other scholars who are currently in college, gave a report to the crowd on their Spring semester and their upcoming summer plans.
Over 150 scholars, their parents and financial sponsors attend the gala.
