At a regular meeting on March 13, Collin Sims, St Tammany District Attorney; Dawn Amacker, Family Court Judge; and Joe Impastato, Parish President explained the initiative on the upcoming ballot. In order to properly fund the Judiciary in St Tammany, the item on the ballot moves funding from certain budget items to the Judiciary entities. Capital Projects, one of the sources of funds, will be funded by issuing additional bonds. The three officials implored the audience to vote for the measure to assure that St Tammany will continue to have a very safe environment.
